Meet the Mountain Ridge Team
Eric Ordoñez grew up in Miami-Dade County. He was born in Miami, FL, to Serafin & Emily Ordoñez. The son of Cuban immigrants. He attended G Holmes Braddock Senior High School where he discovered his passion for Football and used his determination and God given talent to gain a scholarship to Ave Maria University, where he went on to graduate and receive his B.A. in Business Administration
Eric is fairly new to the insurance industry but is learning quickly. He started working in sales and customer service back in 2010 when he started to work for Limited Brand Corporations. Once he graduated from Ave Maria he was giving an opportunity to work for the leading European Manufacturer as a development manager where he managed over 1 million dollars in sales.
His hobbies include hiking, kayaking, anything outdoors really. He loves to attend concerts and live sporting events, especially football games and country concerts.
Eric is in a steady relationship with Kimberley Koci. They are parents to Django the Pitbull and live in North Layton.
Matt Holbrook grew up in Davis County. He was born in Pocatello, ID, and moved to Utah at the age of four. He attended Davis High School and is a graduate from Weber St. University, where he got his B.S. degree in Business Administration.
Matt has been in the insurance industry since 2002. He started his insurance career with American Family Insurance. In 2016, Matt decided to become an independent insurance agent in order to provide more options and better value for his clients.
His hobbies include golf, running, and fly fishing. He loves attending live sporting events, especially Utah Utes football and Utah Jazz basketball. Yellowstone is his favorite place on the planet, and he loves catching native Yellowstone cutthroat trout while fishing amongst the bears and bison.
Matt is married to Kim Holbrook. They have five kids and live in West Layton.
Angie Dee grew up in Southern Utah. Angie Graduated from Panguitch High School.
Angie has been in the insurance industry for 13 years. She loves insurance as she loves taking care of people and wants to make sure all are properly protected.
Angie has been Married for 21 years and has two children. Her daughter Kaylee is 20 and her Son Jaden is 17. She loves Dogs and currently has 4. A great dane named Maddi, a Dachshund named Baxter, a Mastiff named Shasta and a Belgian Malinois named Harley.
Angie loves to Read, Camp, Going to the movies, Go out to eat and hang with Family and friends.
Rick Koci is the founder of Mountain Ridge Insurance Group. With a background in finance, he began his career in the banking industry. He started working with Wells Fargo, where he received his series 6 & 63 licenses, as well as his life and health insurance licenses. Having a desire to help people with their insurance needs, he opened his insurance agency in January 2012.
Rick is dedicated to helping his clients save money and obtain accurate protection for themselves and their families. Mountain Ridge Insurance Group is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses obtain correct and affordable insurance coverage.
Rick is also a combat veteran, he spent 4 years in the Marine Corps and served as a Machine Gunner while deploying to Iraq in March 2003 and again in Feb 2004.
What he loves most now is spending time with his family. He loves hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with his wife and 4 children.
Christina Brown, though born in Arizona, grew up mostly in Davis County. She has been married to Eric Brown for 35 years. They are the parents of 6 children and Nana and Papa to 10 of the most awesome grandchildren.
Christina started her insurance career in 2005 with Allstate. She left Allstate in 2008 and has been working on the independent side ever since.
Christina enjoys crocheting, knitting and making quilts. She especially loves doing things with her family which usually includes 4-wheeling, camping, hiking, and bar-b-ques. She can be talked into going on a trip especially if it is to visit children and grandchildren that live out of state or with grand-children.
